2. The disc has beaten in

Two release problems produce turnovers. The first is an unintentional anhyzer: you think you're releasing flat, but the outside edge of the disc is tilted up. The second is wrist roll (often called off-axis torque): the wrist rotates the disc over at the moment of release, adding a flip the disc has to fight.
Both are hard to feel and easy to see. Film one throw from directly behind and check the disc's angle as it leaves your hand.
